Project Details
Geo Constech carried out track lifting for Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) on the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, in the Katra-Dharam section at Sangaldan.
Method
The track slab was lifted by slab-jacking: polyurethane resin was injected under the slab and the lift was made in controlled stages of 15 to 20 mm. Fibre-reinforced cement grout followed to lock in the lifted level.
Results
Track lifted: 136 mm.
Result certified in February 2026.
